Hi hi hi!
Guess who got themselves a pretty new dress for $1.50 yesterday? This lucky girl, of course! And, master of restraint that I am, I just had to wear it to work today. (After the mandatory run through the washer and dryer.)
FROM TOP TO BOTTOM
Sunnies, Forever 21
Earrings, thrifted in my hometown
Dress, Valu Thrift, ($1.50!!)
Belt, Salvation Army Downtown (downstairs)
Tights, Anthropologie
Boots, Urban Outfitters
I had a wee bit of free time on hands this a.m., so I prettified my hair with my favorite hot rollers from Bourbon & Lace. I wish I had naturally curly hair, like, everyday of my life. My mom does, and tells me often how lucky I am I don’t. The grass is always greener, I guess.
Speaking of green, did y’all party it up in honor of St. Patrick? I met up with some pals for sushi, which might be the least Irish food in existence. But it sure was tasty.
Happy almost weekend!
xo,
Meghan

Valu Thrift is a GOLDMINE, I swear. What a fabulous find, and you look ravishing in it, lady!
TOO CUTE! Looking amazing and adorable as always! You always find the good stuff.
Great find! I haven’t been thrifting in so long. I’m getting the itch!
Dude, I was going to mention your dress yesterday and then didn’t. You looked awesome.
Love your outfit, I adore plaid dresses (I have 5 vintage ones in my collection). You got it for an amazing price too.
Thank you for the comment over on my blog, your mom would probably enjoy the post I did about Andersonville, Chicago’s other Swedish neighborhood that I explored last month. http://thriftaholic.blogspot.com/2011/02/birthday-brunch-antiquing-andersonville.html
