At a very un-Godly hour yesterday morning, I got a tiny bit closer to opening High Plains Thrifter’s Etsy shop. I still have a lot of work to do before it’s up and running, but I’m happy to have the first photo shoot out of the way.
Here are a few quick peeks, all courtesy of louisa marion photography.

oh wow! good luck! looks like you’re off to a great start. :-) can’t wait to see.
We could all use a dance party now and then. Great work, dear!
these are adorable! i just got studio lighting, but i’m having trouble finding the right background. do you or louise have any recommendations?
hey lady! congrats on getting lighting, that’s so important. in terms of background, we used a big ole piece of white paper. we suspended the roll from the ceiling & it worked pretty well, except with the lighter-colored items. most photo shops will have huge rolls of paper…the one drawback was retouching–louisa spent forever taking out the footprints. so, barefoot or clean shoes are a must. anywho, i’ve been loving the shots i’ve seen of your etsy collection so far. so creative! can’t wait for more…
