By the time you read this, my ladies and I will already be on our way to Kansas City. Our itinerary is packed with poolside lounging, eating, (dive) bar hopping and of course, hitting the thrift store scene hard. I so appreciated all the advice and tips y’all shared with me! We’ve got The Woodyard on our short list, as well as Oklahoma Joe’s, Gates and a healthy couple hands full of thrift stores. Bar-wise, we’ll be playing things by ear mostly, but we’ve collectively decided that a visit to Flo’s Poke-A-Dot Lounge is an absolute must, based solely on the name alone. I promise to take tons of photos along the way!
